PrintPlace.com Review – Small Business Printing

print place reviewI like to take the time when I have a truly exceptional experience – good or bad – to let my readers know about the company. I recently had a run of business cards that I needed printed for my copy writing business. It was my first time to use an online print shop. There are about three steps to the process, and it only took me about 15 minutes. Three days later, there were my business cards!

Step 1: Pick your features

First thing I did was to go to the PrintPlace.com website and select the business card option. PrintPlace has this Instant Pricing form that allows you to play around with certain features. I was able to choose between the extra options I wanted and tweak the quantity until I hit my budget right on the nose.

Step 2: Registration

This took 30 seconds and was typical of most registrations processes. No surprises.

Step 3: Upload the Artwork

Next I had to upload my artwork. This process was a bit frustrating, but not because of PrintPlace, necessarily. You have to use their templates for uploading. Since I’m not a graphic design guy, it took me a few tries to get it right. If I can do it, so can you.

Then they sent me a digital proof. This was slick as I was able to see exactly what I was going to get. Once it looked right, I approved the artwork and that was it.

My Rating: 5 Stars

It took me no time, the cost was the best I could find, and the final product looks great! I’m a big fan of painless, so this was great experience for me. I also appreciate the fact that PrintPlace.com has several guarantees: best price, on-time, and satisfaction guarantees. That gave me the confidence to pull the trigger with them and I’m glad I did!
