After years of building other peoples’ sites, we recently decided to launch one of our own for the express purpose of driving targeted traffic. We are performing all of our standard SEO and SEM, so it will be fun to see what happens!
We chose our specific target for two reasons:
1. We love the topic – web design and graphics.
2. We know the target very well.
One of the many opportunities we are excited about is seeing how we can drive our target audience to our site and engage them directly.
Another goal we have with this decision is to corner the market for the term “roundups”. In the graphics and web design community, a roundup is a collection of images that are tied together by a theme. So you might have a roundup of Christmas postcards that would include a collection of various Christmas postcards that we like. We put an image on our website and link back to the original author.

We are looking forward to undertaking this new challenge and are excited about the experiences and education we are sure to get with this new project.
